Tricyrtis Wall. Convallariaceae 'Tojen' with hoverfly. Toad Lily. Distribution: Formosa, but other species from Himalayas to China, Japan, Philippines. Perennial herbaceous plant. Tricyrtis means 'three humped ' in Greek referring to its three part shape; formosana means beautiful and the island of Formosa (whose name also means beautiful).
