Bletilla striata is used in Traditional Chinese Medicine as a Haemostatic, astringent, emollient,
antiphlogistic, reduces swelling, promotes healing, "tonifies lung-energy" and it TREATS: spitting/vomiting blood, nosebleeds, stomach bleeding, tuberculosis, broken bones, burns, abscesses, Inflammation, acne, cracked skin. It is often mixed with powdered amethyst.
