Nomenclature
This is the Meum of the Pharmacopoeia Londinensis (1618): the Meum vulgaris, Spignel and Athamanticum of Parkinson's Theatrum Botanicum (1640). Other names include: Baldmoney, Spiknel, Spikenel and Meu.
