Biography
Patrice Moor began working as an artist in 1993. Moor's wrk gravitates towards making still lives with the focus on one subject, taken out of context. The scale of the subject is often unnatural.
Moor paints intuitively, drawing on natural history and the human form as sources for the subject matter of her paintings. She feels a tacit understanding found through the act of seeing, made tangible in paint, that gives meaning to the natural processes of decay, life and death.
